Cortessian works primarily with board members, senior executives and other senior leaders who need to make or contribute to decisions about AI without becoming AI specialists themselves.

Yes. Advisory can support a specific decision or provide continuing independent advice as questions arise. The starting point is the decision you're trying to make.

Yes. Where implementation is needed, we can bring together the right expertise from our network and work with you through delivery. That might mean specialist engineering, integration or other technical capability. We stay focused on the outcome: deciding what should be implemented, assembling the right team where necessary, and making sure the technology supports what your organisation actually needs.

No. We have no affiliation with, or commercial obligation to, any model provider. That means our starting point is what is appropriate for your organisation, not which product we have to sell.

We judge AI by whether it is appropriate to the problem and creates enough value to justify its cost and complexity. AI is not automatically the best form of automation. Sometimes conventional software or automation can solve the problem more simply and cheaply.

Toby's work with AI includes researching its adoption and testing commercial and open-source models. He is also a verified member of Oxford Review, giving him access to current research from around the world. We also work with other practitioners and consultancies.

The content is all our own, however AI was used to design some of the pages and help with the general build out.

We don't think existential speculation is a useful starting point for most leadership teams. There are more immediate questions about capability, risk, governance and organisational impact that leaders can act on now.
